Beta: Monday 21 September, 2026 Full Client Release: Mon 28 & Tue 29 September, 2026
🎉 What’s new in Release v236?
This release brings clearer, more compliant ticket pricing, a faster search experience, two-way opt-in syncing, and a redesigned queue chart, alongside a good number of accessibility and quality-of-life improvements.
💷 Clearer, fairer ticket pricing
What changed?
- Unavailable ticket tiers and price levels are now automatically excluded from the price range shown on your website, so visitors only ever see prices that are actually on sale.

- Displayed ticket prices can now include fees, helping you stay in line with pricing regulations.
- You can choose to include sitewide per-order transaction fees within the prices shown to your customers.
- The cost explainer is visible in the alternative Production hero layout variants.
How do I use it?
- No action needed for the automatic exclusion of unavailable tiers. This is already live on your website.
- To include per-order transaction fees within displayed prices, switch this on in Configuration > Control Panel > Prices >Include cost in price (cents).
- Fee amounts are entered in the smallest unit of your currency (pence, cents, etc.) rather than as a decimal, so the field works the same way regardless of which decimal notation your country uses. For example, to add a £2.50 fee, enter 250 into the field, not 2.50. For a €1.75 fee, enter 175.

- The cost explainer fix is already live wherever the alternative Production hero layout is used.
Thank you to Bath Box Office for their insight, and for pointing us towards the need for clearer price transparency.
Thank you to Theatre Royal and Concert Hall for their feedback and testing around pricing.
📝 UX and UI upgrades: tidier text, tidier pages
What changed?
- An updated Template texts module brings together both platform default and your own custom Template texts, so you no longer need to search across separate places to find the wording you want to change.
- Fixed a sync issue where multiple paginated parts on a single page could move incorrectly. Thank you to Chassé, Dr Phillips Center, and Orpheus for pointing this out!
- Standardised maintenance pages so they are unbranded and available in multiple languages.
How do I use it?
- Find the new Template texts module in your CMS to search, filter, and edit any text used across your website.
- No action needed for the paginated parts fix or the maintenance page update. Both are already live.
🔍 Smarter, faster search
What changed?
- Search now returns results from just 2 characters instead of 3, helping visitors find what they're looking for that little bit sooner. Thank you to Chassé for suggesting this.
- Event dates in search results are now shown in chronological order.
- Time Machine, used to preview your website ahead of time, now respects the same visibility rules as your live site within search results.
How do I use it?
- No action needed. All three improvements are already live on your website.
🔄 Opt-in data can now flow both ways
What changed?
- A new CRUD API for opt-ins (Create, Read, Update, Delete) allows any third-party system to manage opt-in preferences for your subscribers, making it easier to connect your own tools and workflows.
- Every change made through the API is logged, so you can always see what happened after a write operation.
- For VoordeMensen venues: Opt-ins can now sync automatically between your website accounts and the VoordeMensen box office, keeping both systems up to date without manual work.

How do I use it?
- To connect a third-party system to the opt-in API, create an API key with access to this endpoint.
- Contact the Customer Success team to get started or activate the VoordeMensen sync.
Thank you to Theater Bellevue for sponsoring the VoordeMensen opt-in sync.
📊 See what's really happening in your queue

What changed?
- The queue chart has been redesigned for better readability, accessibility, and clearer visual distinction between different types of traffic.
- Trend arrows now show whether traffic is rising or falling, and the chart is interactive to give you a closer look at the numbers.
- Messages shown to visitors in the waiting room and those in the live queue can now be set separately, so you can communicate more precisely with each group.
How do I use it?
- Rolling out client by client – we'll let you know when it's live on your website.
- If you have any onsales in the near future and you want the new queue to be available, please reach out to our support team.
- To set different messages for the waiting room and the live queue, go to Control panel > Queue.
♿ More accessibility upgrades
What changed?
- Filters are now clearer to use and easier to reset with a screen reader or keyboard.
- Wishlist icons now include descriptive Template text, such as "login to use wishlist," so screen reader users know exactly what to expect before they act.
How do I use it?
- No action needed. Both improvements are already live across your website.
- Find the new wishlist Template texts under FE3_wishListLogin_button, FE3_wishListReveal_button, or search for FE3_wishList in your Template Texts module, and customise the wording to match your voice.
Thank you to Wilmink Theater, De Doelen and Digitaal Toegankelijk for their continued work helping us improve accessibility.
🧭 Wayfinding: clearer portrait layouts

What changed?
- On portrait screens, left and right direction pointers now split into two stacked areas, with each panel using the full available width for better readability.
How do I use it?
- No action needed. This improvement is already live in theWayfinding module.
⚙️ Additional fixes & Improvements
A handful of improvements that tidy things up and keep everything running smoothly.
CMS improvements
- The "Update Prices" button now runs in the background, so large price imports no longer stall the page while they process.
For Spektrix venues
- Added a new /blank page to support Spektrix iframe resizing. Thank you to Spektrix for the guidance.
Visual & interaction fixes
- People are now displayed in the order of their Role within a Cluster. To change the order, drag and drop the Roles themselves in the Role module rather than the People.
- ‘Reviews gallery’ arrows now sit correctly inside the viewport.
- Visitors can now remove items from the Basket pop-up directly within the integrated Purchase Path.
- Accordion arrows now point in the correct direction when closed.
System & other fixes
- Improved the underlying code for e-ticket and team group visibility, for better reliability behind the scenes.
